Student Outreach:

Our Student Outreach program is a significant way in which we make an impact in our community. Each August, we host a back-to-school event called Highlighter! During this event, we distribute school supplies to 1,000 students in our Southwest Local School District. In addition, we take the opportunity to provide families with a nice meal and a night of free fun, including activities such as face painting, cotton candy, water slides, inflatables, and backpack giveaways. This year, we decided to combine our outreach efforts by not only providing school supplies but also offering families a large supply of food and snacks before sending their kids back to school. It was a night when the Farmers Market and Highlighter collided! We are very blessed to be partnered with Wildcat Cares, a local group that is determined to assist students in the improvement of their mental health and help meet tangible needs like school lunch debt, and more.
